Congratulations to our volunteers who were nominated for the Age Friendly Belfast Older Volunteer Recognition Award 2017. The celebration took place on Tuesday in City Hall and all the nominees really enjoyed it.
Thank you for all your hard work at BCM Wednesday Lunch Club and ENGAGES ALL Inter-generational Programme and Volunteer Forum.
Some of our residents and staff had decided that they wished to celebrate Remembrance Day at the Ulster Museum in Belfast and see the beautiful Weeping Window instalation. This amazing instalation consists of several thousand of handmade ceramic poppies pouring from a high window to the ground below.
The residents and the staff members really enjoyed the outing and the day was very emotional for everybody.
The photographs below were taken on the day at Ulster Museum.
