Kirk House Residents Attend Commissioner for Older People Event

Residents from Kirk House went along to the Europa Hotel recently for the launch of the Commissioner for Older People's Report to mark International Older People's Day. As you can see they had a great time and were treated like VIPs for the morning! The report by Commissioner Claire Keatinge summarises her advice to government on matters of concern to older people during her time in office.

Sharon Mcilroy is the Residential Manager for Kirk House

Sharon Mcilroy is the Residential Manager for Kirk House. Sharon is part of the Kirk House family, having worked her way up to managerial positions over a number of years. Her excellent reputation saw her seconded to our Copelands residential home to assist in developing core services at that new location. With the appointment of a permanent manager there, Sharon has now returned in 2023 to take up the manager role at Kirk House- a decision that has been warmly received by residents and staff alike.
