Kirk House Relatives 'Step into Spring' for the Garden Fund

St Patrick’s Day was busy for a group of friends of Kirk House as they took part in a sponsored walk to raise funds for improvements to the gardens. The 'Step Into Spring' walk was organised by Christine McCafferty whose cousin Dr Dorothy Robb has lived in Kirk House since 2014.  The group, made up of relatives and Andrea, Sharon and Nicky from the staff team, were lucky to enjoy a beautiful spring day as they walked along the Comber Greenway.  They finished the walk with a St Patrick’s tea back at Kirk House, complete with homemade cakes to replace all those vital calories they lost while walking!  Thanks to everyone who has so generously supported the walk.

The walkers were raising money for the Kirk House Garden Fund so if you would like to sponsor them please do, it's not too late - just chat to any member of staff for details.  We're aiming to raise money to improve the landscaping and overhaul the outdoor spaces so all residents can fully enjoy the gardens.
