'Dementia Friends' inter-generational session

Kirk House Manager- Andrea together with one of the residents at Kirk House- Sammy Gordon have recently facilitated a great 'Dementia Friends'session in one of the local primary schools as part of our inter-generational work. It is fantastic to see how enthusiastic and interested those young people are.

Sharon Mcilroy is the Residential Manager for Kirk House

Sharon Mcilroy is the Residential Manager for Kirk House. Sharon is part of the Kirk House family, having worked her way up to managerial positions over a number of years. Her excellent reputation saw her seconded to our Copelands residential home to assist in developing core services at that new location. With the appointment of a permanent manager there, Sharon has now returned in 2023 to take up the manager role at Kirk House- a decision that has been warmly received by residents and staff alike.
