Cygnets return to Kirk House

Following the success of their first visit to Kirk House before Christmas, children (aged 3-5 years) from Puddleducks Day Nursery were excited to join their new friends for a second morning of fun and activities.  But it wasn't just the children who were looking forward to it!  The residents were delighted to once again welcome the children to their home and to enjoy sharing in their energy and zest for life.

The children and staff at BCM's Puddleducks had prepared activities and it was a fun-filled “valentines themed” morning when they sang songs together, did modelling with glitter and heart-filled play dough and made love bugs, which the residents got to keep in their flats!

What was a fabulous morning together! And the plan is to continue these visits on a regular basis.  A great example of how the generations have so much to offer each other.
