The People's Projects- Voting open now!

BCM Kirk House has been taking part in a pilot 'Connecting Care Homes' Project. The residents and young people from local schools and youth clubs were brought together by Linking Generations Northern Ireland, who are now competing for £50,000 of National Lottery Funding to make the project spread across Northern Ireland. The project connects care homes to their local community through bringing local schools and youth groups together with residents of the care home to complete a range of projects and activities, from arts, fashion, music, crafts and reminiscence.

Meet your Kirk House Manager

Sharon Mcilroy is the Residential Manager for Kirk House

Sharon Mcilroy is the Residential Manager for Kirk House. Sharon is part of the Kirk House family, having worked her way up to managerial positions over a number of years. Her excellent reputation saw her seconded to our Copelands residential home to assist in developing core services at that new location. With the appointment of a permanent manager there, Sharon has now returned in 2023 to take up the manager role at Kirk House- a decision that has been warmly received by residents and staff alike.
