Kirk House team awarded the Independent Health Care Team Award

Congratulations to the whole team at Kirk House who won the Independent Health Care Team Award and to Andrea, Kirk House Manager who was the runner-up in the Leadership Award.

Independent Health and Care Providers (ihcp) is a non-profit making organisation representing private, voluntary, charitable and church affiliated providers of health and social care.

The ihcp Care Team Award– Residential Home/Housing with Care recognises the vital work that care staff working together make to individual lives and to the care environment. It acknowledges that care in residential home or housing with care settings is best delivered as a team to ensure good experience for residents and quality services in service delivery. The award wishes to recognise excellence in practice and is aimed at Care Teams who provide services outside the scope or standard normally expected for such roles.

The celebration and awards presentation took place on Thursday 5th October and everybody had a wonderful time.

Additionally, the team was celebrating together at Kirk House after the awards presentation and eating a delicious cake to make that special moment even sweeter.
